This candidate has a Master’s in Accounting and was most recently the Staff Accountant for a recruiting / staffing firm in Healthcare staffing for nurses and doctors.  He was brought in as part of a large group hire, however, as their business started dwindling, they let some of their recent admin hires go as well, ending his time there in November.  While he was there, he was part of the NetSuite implementation.  His previous experience has been in an end-user capacity, but he came in and worked closely with the CFO to assist with the implementation and was able to pick up quickly and solve several of the issues they ran into during the process.  Before that, he was Field Claims Adjustor for an aviation claims service for 4 years 7 months working on several contractual jobs through them.  He got into it because of Hurricane Harvey and really wanted to contribute to helping people recover from it.  He was also the Sales and Use Tax Analyst for a subsidiary of American Airlines using SAP as their ERP.  He is looking for the perfect opportunity where Accounting and Technology meet and work together.
